Privacy Policy
Fermi Poker · Last updated 13 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Fermi Poker (“Fermi Poker”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Fermi Poker is an independently developed app. By using the app you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Anonymous account ID. On first launch we generate a random player ID to keep your profile, coins and progress. It identifies your account, not your hardware: it is not derived from your device, not linked to your real-world identity, and we do not ask for your real name.
- Profile you create. Your chosen username (a public handle), avatar and emote selections.
- Gameplay data. In-app coin and gem balances, game results, play statistics used for leaderboards and your profile, and entries you submit to in-app activities (for example the weekly guess-the-average game and the one-time probability survey).
- Content you publish. Community question sets you create (the set’s name, icon, questions and answers) are visible to other players, in the community library or to anyone you give the share code, together with your username as the author.
- Friends. Friend connections you create within the app.
- Reports you file. If you report another player, we receive the report and its reason so we can moderate the game.
- Purchases. In-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google through our purchases provider (RevenueCat). We receive the purchase status, not your payment card number.
- Support correspondence. If you email us, we receive your message and email address so we can reply.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising. The app contains no analytics or advertising SDKs.
Some data never leaves your device. Your prediction book (personal forecasts and their outcomes) is stored only on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.
Voice chat
Voice chat at a table is real-time and transmitted through our voice provider (LiveKit). We do not record or store voice audio. You can mute, block and report other players from within the app.
How we use information
- To run the game, leaderboards, friends and purchases.
- To provide support and to keep the service secure and free of abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations (for example, keeping purchase records).
Service providers
We rely on a small number of third parties to operate the app: Supabase (backend, database and authentication hosting), RevenueCat together with Apple and Google (in-app purchases), and LiveKit (real-time voice chat). They process data only to provide their service to us, under their own terms and security obligations.
Data retention and deletion
You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app: Settings → Privacy → Delete account. This also deletes community question sets you published. We may retain limited records where the law requires it (for example, purchase records). To request deletion or a copy of your data, contact us at info@fermi.poker.
Children
Fermi Poker is intended for users aged 13 and older, and it is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us at info@fermi.poker and we will delete it. Some regions set a higher minimum age for consenting to data processing without a parent; where that applies, you must meet your local minimum age.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email info@fermi.poker. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
